What is Progesterone?

Progesterone is the basic hormone for adaptation and resistance to stress. Having adequate amounts of progesterone in the body prevents the excess production of cortisol, one of our primary stress hormones.

Progesterone is not only very important in women, sometimes labeled a 'Master Hormone', but also important in men as it is required for testosterone production, bone health, and prostate health. It protects the overall structure of tissues and prevents their degradation.

It inhibits enzymes that increase the production of estrogen, serotonin, and histamine, and decreases enzymes that promote the excitatory neurotransmitters such as ACTH and NMDA.

Progesterone can also protect against the toxic effects of excess estrogen. This can cause symptoms such as in PMS, endometriosis, PCOS, and so forth.

Mainly - progesterone is anti-cortisol, and anti-estrogen.

Progesterone may benefit:

- Stress
- Estrogen dominance
- PMS symptoms
- Arthritis
- Tendonitis
- Bursitis
- Osteoporosis
- Sunburn
- Prostate
- Anti-aging
- Brain health
- Skin firmness & elasticity

    Highest Quality OTC Progesterone

This progesterone supplement raised my urine PdG (a metabolite of progesterone that tends to track fairly well with serum progesterone levels) from 2.58 ug/ml to 16.22 in ONE DAY, the highest it’s ever been. This took me from way below what I needed, passed the minimum of 10, and well into the “ideal” range! That said, ultimately I did have to go with prescription progesterone unfortunately because of the severity of my body’s need for progesterone right now. But, we trust this product more for quality and purity, so we were sad to part with it. Just needed a much higher dose for our immediate needs right now. If I ever need to supplement with progesterone again, and I can take lower doses, this is exactly what we’ll be buying!

    Awesome

I’m 46 and started suffering from really terrible peri menopausal hot flashes and decided to try this product and within a week or so they were gone. I’ve been consistently taking it for over 6 months now as described in the bottle (6 drops in the morning/evening) and I haven’t had a return of any symptoms. I feel less stressed overall and do sleep better (I also take Lifeblud magnesium which contributes as well). It may not be the right path for every woman during this phase where hormones drop or become imbalanced but it’s certainly helped me. I won’t live without it! Thank you for this great product Adam!
