Magnesium Body Lotion
Adam says: For the longest time, I've been using just coconut oil as a moisturizer. Knowing that its not a good idea to use some chemical laden moisturizer like lubriderm, but also knowing that its not smart to lather some PUFA filled 'all natural' moisturizer all over the skin, I had just opted for the oil.
The tallow-based moisturizer just absorbs into the skin so much better and provides a longer lasting moisture. It feels a lot more nourishing to the skin. I love the added benefit of magnesium in here and think it would be great for body aches and pains, especially mixed with some DMSO.
Fatskn is an awesome Canadian based company, and the owner Caitlyn is super cool.
From Fatskn:
Sandalwood oil comes from the wood and roots of Santalum album (the East Indian sandalwood tree) and is one of the most valuable trees in the world. As soon as I smelled it, I knew that we had to make a whipped body butter with it. Fatskn Whipped Body Butters leave your skin looking moisturized and fresh, without being oily or greasy. Although it is not weightless, you don't get the pore-clogging feeling (or effect) you get from coconut oil or other plant-based oils.
Scent Notes: Sandalwood is unlike any other essential oil I have ever come across. It is a full-bodied scent, slightly woody and mostly floral. It is a delicate yet unmistakable scent that stays with you throughout the day. As with children I don't like to play favorites, however this may be my favorite....
